Cholesterol Drugs For Kids

Some important health news for families with overweight children, this as cholesterol drugs are now being recommended for young children.

The American Academy of Pediatrics says some children as young as eight should be given cholesterol-fighting drugs to help ward off future heart problems.

Under the new guidelines, the drugs would be given to children as young as eight who have too much so-called "bad" cholesterol. The academy is also recommending cholesterol testing for children as young as two.

They don't need the drugs. Just get them out of the house to play outside and out from in front of the TV and video games. They just need to exercise and eat properly. No more drugs for kids. They are exposed to enough as it is. Take a stand for your child, teach them while you can.
