Kroger Beef Recall Expands

If you plan to fire up the grill for the Fourth of July, you better first check to see if your hamburger beef is being recalled.

The Kroger Company is expanding its beef recall to more than 20 states because some of its ground beef products may be contaminated with E-coli.

Kroger first announced a recall last Wednesday for stores in Michigan and parts of Ohio after more than 30 people reported becoming ill. Kroger has been told that one of its suppliers, Nebraska Beef, has been linked to the illnesses.

This starting to really get old. Why isn't there better control over our food and the way it is processed. If the FDA is overloaded then the gov't should step & hire more people. These food recalls are increasing & nothing is being done for prevention
