Update: Search Continues For Salmonella Source

The country's top health official is still trying to get to the bottom of the recent salmonella outbreak.

Health and Human Services Director Michael Leavitt says he was frustrated that the problem with tainted tomatoes has not been solved yet.

According to U.S. Today, The Food and Drug Administration has added at least 100 more laboratories in effort to track down the salmonella source.

Since April, more than 800 people have become ill, related to the salmonella outbreak. During a press conference about the safety of imports, Leavitt said he had faith in the FDA's ability to find the source and solution of the problem.
