Benefits Of A Good Walk

Women looking for relief from some of the symptoms of menopause may benefit from walking.

Researchers followed 380 women from Philadelphia for more than eight years.

Those who walked frequently had fewer psychological symptoms of menopause, including anxiety, stress and depression. However, walking didn't reduce physical symptoms, like hot flashes.

Experts say women don't need to get a gym membership, walking around the block or the mall can work just as well.
