Study Finds Older Workers Report Less Stress Than Younger Employees

A new University of Michigan study finds stress levels at work are much lower among older adults.

Researchers say many of the older workers were "empty nesters," and therefore did not have the same work and family conflicts faced by some younger employees.

Middle-aged and older workers are expected to outnumber their younger colleagues by the year 2010. The study is based on data from 1,544 participants.
