Windsor Police Chief Retiring

One town is preparing for a changing of the guard for its top cop. Windsor Police Chief Rodney Hoggard will retire next year, according to the Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald.

The paper says the Windsor Board of Commissioners unanimously appointed Todd Lane to be his successor. He is currently a first sergeant with the Highway Patrol.

Chief Hoggard will retire in the middle part of next year, according to the Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald.
