NEW INFO: Williamston Food Lion Robbed

Police are looking for a man and a woman who they say robbed a grocery store Wednesday night.

Williamston police say the Food Lion on East Boulevard was held-up around 9:40 p.m. Employees say a black man and a black woman came into the store, armed with a handgun, and demanded money. They got away with an undisclosed amount of money from the store.

No one was injured in the robbery. Anyone with information on the robbery should call Williamston police at 252-792-2124 or Martin County Crime Stoppers at 252-792-8800.
