It will be warm and breezy on Friday but changes are on the way for the weekend. A cold front will approach eastern Carolina Friday night bringing showers ahead of it.
Isolated showers may develop in the early afternoon but the activity will become more numerous by the afternoon into Friday evening. Rainfall amounts are expected to average between .50" and 1" before the moisture is swept offshore Saturday morning.
Temperatures will reach the upper 70s Friday and lower 70s on Saturday. Cooler and drier air will follow the front Saturday night into Sunday.
