Two men suspected of breaking in another man's home then attempting to rob him are in jail.
Beaufort County deputies said it happened on August 2 around 5:30 p.m.
Authorities said two men forced their way inside a man's home in Mimosa Mobile Park. The duo assaulted the man then attempted to rob him.
The man suffered from injuries and was taken to Vidant Beaufort where he was treated and released, according to deputies.
Gerardo Ramirez,19, and 20-year-old Derick Cannon, both of Washington, were charged with seven offenses each in relation to the break-in.
Charges the two men face include one count of breaking and entering to terrorize and one count of attempted common law robbery.
Bond for Ramirez was set at $15,000 while Cannon was given a $30,000 bond.
