Two Charged In PCC Laptop Thefts

Two former students have been arrested and police are looking for a third suspect in connection with last year's theft of laptops from Pitt Community College.

28-year-old Philip Johnson was arrested Monday, while 17-year-old Malik Johnson was taken into custody this morning.

PCC police say $17,000 in laptops were stolen November 28th from a physics classroom at the Robert Lee Humber Building. Several of those laptops have been found in Florida, according to police.

The two Johnsons are charged with breaking, entering and larceny as well as felony possession of stolen property. PCC police say they're looking for a third person in connection with the laptop thefts.
