Deputies say the two people who broke into a local business didn't get very far; they were caught a few blocks away.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested 19-year-old Brandon Hales and 37-year-old Tammy Morris Saturday morning on Vail Street in Pikeville, hiding inside an old shed. Deputies say the two ran there after breaking into Howell Brothers Grocery on West Main Street just after 7 a.m. Deputies and officers from Fremont police responded to the call for a break-in and saw two people run from the store, chasing them to Vail Street.
Both Hales and Morris were booked under $5,000 bonds.
