A fire broke out Wednesday morning leaving a Potters Hill man without his home.
Fire crews in Duplin County rushed to a house fire on Highway 41 near Wagon Ford Road around 4:00 Wednesday morning.
Duplin County Emergency Management Office Coordinator Reid Southerland tells WITN a man and his 2 friends escaped the fire and no one was hurt.
Fire investigators said the cause of the fire was an electric furnace.
While the home is unlivable, officials said the Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
