On Friday morning, the North Carolina Department of Transportation said they would run a two-boat schedule for the day.
The NCDOT said that shoaling on the Ocracoke side, from northwest winds, made too challenging of a route for the smaller vessel to maneuver.
Some departures were cancelled. Those are listed below.
From Hatteras: 7 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.
From Ocracoke: 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
