Two suspects charged in the high-profile murder case of three Farmville convenience store employees have motions scheduled for Tuesday.
We checked court calendars, and those show Willie Whitehead and Xavier Shamble are due in court Tuesday. They are two of four suspects charged with the murders of the three clerks on the night of April 1, 2012.
Investigators said while the two will not physically be at the Pitt County Courthouse on Tuesday, both have motions set for that day. No word yet what the motions are regarding.
The Pitt County Sheriff's Office says these two, along with Antwan Anthony and Raekwon Blount, stormed into the Hustle Mart in Farmville armed with guns. Deputies say the men robbed the convenience store then shot and killed the three workers inside...including the owner's 16-year-old son.
A total of 8 people have been arrested in connection with the murders on charges ranging from accessory after the fact to destroying evidence.
