Suspected Drug Trafficker Arrested In Greenville

A suspected drug trafficker is behind bars this morning, awaiting his first court appearance, at least on the latest charges against him.

James Cooper, 28, of Greenville is charged with two counts of trafficking opium or heroin, along with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver, and probation violation.

Cooper's criminal record dates back 6 years to contributing to the delinquency of a minor in Washington County.

Cooper's bond on these new drugs charges is $250,000.
