Store Employee Busted For Drugs After Police Inspection

A convenience store employee is facing drug charges after police say they smelled marijuana during a check of the business.

Jacksonville police have charged Belil Alnaqeb with possession with intent to sell, distribute and manufacture marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for controlled substance, and manufacture / sale / distribute / possession of controlled substance within 1000 feet of school.

Officers say they were conducting an unannounced inspection of Kings Drive Through on Gum Branch Road to ensure ABC regulations were being met when they detected the pot.

The 29-year-old Alnaqeb was jailed under an $81,500 bond.
