Still Recovering, Hurricane Victims Find A Way To Mark Christmas

Homes and FEMA trailers are decorated for Christmas in Hobucken and Lowland in Pamlico County as those hard hit by Hurricane Irene are doing what they can to have a Merry Christmas.

Some homeowners like Edwin Ireland are far from getting back into their home, but he's still trying to get in the holiday spirit. Ireland says he's still working with his insurance company and FEMA to figure out if he'll be able to fix the damage.

Ireland's neighbor Phil Williamson is also living in a FEMA trailer, but he says that's not going to stop his family from enjoying Christmas as a family friend is letting them use their home.

Williamson says next week he and and his family are going to start doing a lot of work to put his home back together.
