An arrest has been made in a weekend robbery at an Onslow County store thanks to one of the customers who recognized him.

Deputies charged Edward Cramer of Sneads Ferry with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property.

Deputies say around 6:00 p.m. Saturday they responded to the Maxway on Old Folkstone Road in Sneads Ferry for the armed robbery call. A man came into the store and was purchasing a jacket. As the clerk was bagging the jacket, he pulled out a knife from his pocket and demanded all the money from the register.

Cramer was later arrested at his home and jailed on a $75,000 bond.
