Sex Offender Arrested In Greenville

A sex offender is back behind bars on a charge of failing to report his new address to authorities, which is something people convicted of sex crimes are required by law to do.

Kevin Andrews, 37, of Greenville was booked in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $75,400 bond Tuesday. In addition to the charge of failing to report change of address, he's accused of a probation violation and failing to appear on a charge of driving while license revoked.

The jail and the sex offender registry list Andrews as living on Briarcliff Drive in Greenville. It's not clear whether that is his current address that he failed to report, or the location authorities had him registered as living.
