2 Sanford Men Arrested After Bodies Found In Burning Car

SANFORD, N.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a man has been charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping in the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a burning car in Sanford.

Police said 28-year-old Donald McLaughlin was arrested Tuesday.

Investigators say firefighters found the bodies of 30-year-old Christopher Plush and 21-year-old Anna Truelove in a burning sedan parked behind a school early Sunday morning. They were both shot.

Police haven't given a motive for the killings.

Also arrested Tuesday was 25-year-old Damian McSwain. He is charged with accessory after the fact.

It wasn't clear if either suspect had a lawyer.

Breaking News!!! Man defends WITN is the same manner the news is reported, haphazardly. Very much like WITN, you should proofread first. "Why don't you go start your own news agency" is a question and should have end with a question mark.

More Breaking News. Petty idiot can't tell the difference between a question and a request to take action. When you going to start your own news agency??????????? (Enough question marks for you.) Let's see you do it better!!!!!!!! (Enough exclamation marks for you.)

And of course, since you're such a GREAT commentator, none of your post are grammatically incorrect. Except in your 8:10 AM post where you said " Minimum investigation, lack of proofreading." That is grammatically incorrect. It is a sentence fragment. Same with your post at 11:34 AM. Right off the bat where you said "Usually huh??" Also a sentence fragment. So I guess you're just as haphazard as WITN. Maybe YOU should learn to proofread BEFORE you start criticizing WITN or the people who post on their website. The people who post here are not trying to be Pulitzer prize writers. They are just tring to get their point across. And by the way, what is your point (besides the one on the top of your head.)????? Oh, yea, that you're so much better than WITN. Well now is your chance. Why don't you setp up to the plate and start your own news agency or work for WITN and show them how much better you are at reporting the news.

Yeah. WITN is not the place to get factual news. Just a spin of what really happened.

Don't like the news at WITN. Don't think it's factual or you think WITN spins the news, then go somewhere else. You're not forced to come to this site or watch their channel. There is still freedom of choice and if you don't like what you see on TV or read on their web site, then change the channel or turn off the computer/TV.

I do. I check multiple sources. And when it's all played out, WITN usually has the facts wrong or leaves out specific details. I enjoy the site because it's very much like watching a H.S. reporter who's just trying to get a good grade. Minimum investigation, lack of proofreading. It's very comedic but unintentional.

Once again, you don't like what is reported here, then go somewhere else. I check multiple sources also and I find that WITN usually has the facts right. And these sourses are very reliable. Sounds to me like you have some kind of grudge against WITN. If you don't like what you see, you don't have to watch. That is the power of "FREEDOM OF CHOICE".

Usually huh?? You said it!! A reliable news source should have the facts straight at the time of the report or at least update stories as facts become available and admit when wrong information was reported. Not always the case. I have no grudge against WITN and I choose to come here to amuse myself. Freedom of Choice is great!!

To: Anonymous on Aug 25, 2011 at 11:34 AM I haven't seen any news outlet that reports the news perfectly every time. BUT since you know the news perfectly WHY DON'T YOU START YOUR OWN NEWS AGENCY. Your so quick to point out was is wrong, start your own news agency and show everyone else how to do it. Or in words you can understand, "Put up or shut up". Isn't a free market and freedom of choice great.
