Driver Will Be Cited After SUV Flips Over On Greenville Street

Police say the driver of an SUV that flipped over on a Greenville street will be cited for causing the accident.

It happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Red Banks Road in front of Adams Car Wash.

Police say the SUV was turning into the car wash and pulled in front of oncoming traffic. The woman' SUV was hit by a Chrysler.

Police say the driver of the other vehicle and a small child inside were taken to Vidant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

One lane of the busy street was closed down for about an hour.

The woman will be charged with failure to yield, according to officers.
