Officials say that the body of a man who went missing in January in Craven County has been found.
The Craven County Sheriff’s Office says that the body of 82-year-old David Little was found around 10:45 Saturday morning off of Asa Heath Road in Jones County. We’re told that investigators found the body while out searching that area.
Little was last seen on January 10th, and a Silver Alert was issued shortly thereafter prompting a search for the man. The alert said that
Little suffered from dementia.

Authorities in Craven County are asking for your help locating a man who has been missing for several days now.
A Silver Alert was issued on January 10 by the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons after 82-year-old David Lee Little went missing. Little is said to suffer from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. He was last seen wearing a grey toboggan, a black coat, grey sweatpants, and white tennis shoes.
Little is described as being 5’5’’ and weighing 150 pounds.
