Monday will start cloudy with a few sporadic rain showers across eastern Carolina. As we progress through the day, the rain will cease and the clouds will start to break up. This will allow for some increased afternoon heating, sending temperatures up from the upper 40s (on Sunday) to the low 50s.
There is a slight chance of afternoon to evening showers on Tuesday, but after that, we are looking at dry conditions for the rest of the week.
