Police Looking For Shooters After Gunfire Exchange In Greenville Neighborhood

The search is on for people who police say were shooting at each other, in the street of a local neighborhood. Now, there are bullet holes to patch in a home and two cars caught in the middle.

Greenville police said they got a call of shots fired on West 13th Street at 11:08 p.m. Monday.

Once officers got there, a witness told them people in two cars were shooting at each other in the street, but apparently missed and took off.

Officials said the people behind the guns left bullet holes in the house at 402 W. 13th St. While people were inside, officers say no one was hurt.

Two cars parked nearby were also hit in the gunfire exchange, according to police.

While officers reported they are working with vehicle descriptions from the shooting, they are not releasing that information at this time.
