Washington Police: Suspects Embezzled From Elderly Woman

Washington Police arrested two women on charges they had taken money from an elderly woman who they were supposed to be taking care of.

Detectives arrested 29-year-old Crystal Nobles and 28-year-old Kellie Taylor, both of Chocowinity, on December 20th. Police said both women were caregivers for an elderly woman and embezzled from her. Washington Police did not elaborate on the specific amount of money stolen and will not release the victim's identity for her own safety.

Police said both Nobles and Taylor were place in the Beaufort County Jail under a $50,000 bond each.
