POLICE: 2 Arrested For Stealing $6K Worth Of Clothes, Shoes

Police said two women went on a $6,000 shopping spree without dropping a dime. Now the pair is facing criminal charges.

Jacksonville police said they got a call of a larceny near the Marshall's on Western Boulevard around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Officer said they spotted the accused crooks in a vehicle, leaving the Sam's parking lot and heading toward Circuit Lane.

The pair kept driving onto Moosehaven Road regardless of the officer's blue lights behind them, according to police.

After turning into the Goodwill and Mi Cabana parking lots, police said the woman behind the wheel shifted the car into reverse, hit a patrol car, and the duo jumped out to try and get away on foot.

Officers said that is when they arrested the pair and opened the trunk of their vehicle to find the $6,000 worth of stolen merchandise.

Police arrested 37-year-old Refeeka Brunson and 19-year-old Dominique Eason, both from Wilmington.

Brunson's bond was set at $46,000 for charges of assault with a deadly weapon, felony possession of stolen goods, and fleeing to elude arrest, among other charges.

Eason's bond was set at $20,600.
