A month-long investigation resulted in the arrest of two men who police say were traveling to New Jersey to bring heroin back to Eastern Carolina.
The Greenville Regional Drug Task Force, with the help of the DEA, arrested Nazeer Vick and Wesley Walker, both of Greenville, and charged them with numerous heroin trafficking charges.
Investigators say the two were arrested on Tuesday in the vicinity of Memorial Drive and Country Club Drive. They seized 200 bags of heroin, and 36 grams of raw powder heroin.
Police said the two used fake household cleaners to conceal the heroin when bringing it back to Pitt County, and then would repackage it for sale.
Vick's bond was set at $2 million, while Walker was jailed on a $1 million bond.
