The Highway Patrol says three people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a wreck on Highway 17 in Maysville in Onslow County.
Trooper Sean Spring says at 5:45 p.m. Friday the driver of a Ford passenger car failed to yield and pulled out from Spring Hill Road in front of a Chevy car headed north on Highway 17. The driver of the Chevy and driver and passenger in the Ford were all taken to the hospital to be checked out. The Ford ended up in a ditch.
