Officials in Jones County said a driver was trapped in their vehicle near Pollocksville just before 6PM on Saturday evening.
Deputies with the Jones County Sheriff's office confirmed the driver was trapped in a vehicle on Island Creek Road near Pollocksville in Jones County.
Deputies said that driver was later freed from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital.
Investigators have not yet identified the driver or cause of the wreck. No word on the driver's condition.
