One Man Dead In Goldsboro Shooting

Goldsboro police say a Dudley man died at the hospital after he was shot early Thursday morning.

Police say 27-year-old Joseph Bunch was found shot on the sidewalk at 613 E. Elm Street in Goldsboro. Police were responding to a shots fired call from the 600 block of Crawford St. at 1 a.m., and the call was upgraded to a person shot call on their way there.

Bunch was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
