Woman Charged In Death Of Wheelchair-Bound Man

Police in Winston-Salem have charged a 19-year-old woman with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man confined to a wheelchair.

Officers were sent to a home last Friday regarding a welfare call. Nurses had been making routine visits to 36-year-old Clarence Joseph Hart's home, but a nurse notified police when he failed to answer the door. Police broke into Hart's home and found his body inside.

On Monday, detectives arrested 19-year-old Madyson Michelle Renegar. She is being held without bond in the Forsyth County jail.
