No Injuries After House Explodes In Fayetteville

Police in Fayetteville are investigating the explosion of a house that damaged more than a dozen other homes in the neighborhood.

No injuries have been reported in the blast that occurred around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Cumberland County Sheriff's Capt. Charles McLaurin says the cause of the blast has not been determined.

McLaurin says the State Bureau of Investigation and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms will be investigating.

He says no one was in the house that was destroyed in the blast.
