Firefighters are battling flames at an abandoned mobile home in Craven County.

Dispatchers with the Craven County Sheriff's office said crews were called to a mobile home on Clermont Road in James City at 6:44 a.m.

Craven County Emergency Services Director Stanley Kite tells WITN the mobile home is abandoned and no one was inside at the time the fire started.

Multiple crews are still working to knock down the blaze, according to Kite.
