An electrical malfunction forced the emergency landing of a North Carolina National Guard Army aircraft at Raleigh-Durham International Airport Thursday evening.

Officials say the AH-64D Apache helicopter landed without incident just after 5 p.m. Thursday. RDU Crash Rescue was on site as a precaution, but there were no injuries. The aircraft was not damaged.

N.C. National Guard maintenance crews will investigate the aircraft.
