Six People Displaced By Greenville Fire

A family of six was displaced by a fire late this afternoon in Greenville.

The call came in around 4:45 to a home on Glenwood Drive, which is located off South Memorial Drive.

It didn't take long for firefighters to extinguish the blaze.

Firefighters say they are still investigating how the fire began.

Smoke damage will keep the parents and their four children from staying in the home tonight. The children are 11, 15, 16 and 23 years old.

The homeowner said they have three smoke detectors in the home, but none of them went off.
