NEW INFO: Motorcyclist Killed In Greenville Wreck

A Greenville man is dead after his motorcycle was struck late Saturday night.

Michael Taylor was killed in the Memorial Drive accident that happened just before midnight. Police say the 43-year-old man's motorcycle was struck by another vehicle near the Stantonsburg Road intersection.

Police have not released the name of the other driver, and no charges have been filed in the accident.

A fatal crash involving a motorcycle is under investigation.

Dispatchers in Pitt County say the wreck happened on S. Memorial Drive near Stantonsburg Rd. in Greenville around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Michael Taylor, 43, was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Mercedes Benz, according to Captain Rob Williams.

No charges have been filed at this time.
