Morning Snow Closes County School System North Of Raleigh

An unpredicted snow has caused one North Carolina school system to close early today.

Vance County Schools, north of Raleigh, shut down their schools at 11:45 a.m. this morning.

There has also been flurries reported through locations along and north of 264. Roanoke Rapids, Winterville, Plymouth, Roper and Kelford and Tarboro reported sone flakes on this first full day of spring.
