Police say a Martin County store owner stepped in when he recognized two suspects accused of stealing more than $1,000 from video game machines at his store.
Martin County deputies say two suspects were seen on surveillance cameras stealing from the machines at the Jamesville Mini-Mart last Monday.
Deputies say the same two men, identified as 19-year-old Dequan Swain and 19-year-old Deshawn Hedgebeth, came into the store a week later. That's when the owner called the police and confronted the suspects.
The store owner held the men in the store until officials arrived.
Both suspects face several charges including felony larceny.
