Man Charged With Threatening To Kill Judge, Blow Up Judicial Center

A man is jailed on a one million dollar bond after deputies say he threatened to kill a judge and blow up a judicial center.

Dare County deputies and the SBI went to Hortense, Georgia on Friday to get Paul Wright and bring him back to face charges.

Deputies say Wright made the December 11th bomb threat directed at Senior Resident Superior Judge Jerry Tillett and the Dare County Justice Center. He was charged with making a false report concerning a destructive device and threatening to kill a court officer.

Wright was also served with two failure to appear warrants from offenses that happened in 2009. His probable cause hearing in January 11th.
