We’re gathering details on the arrest of a man for kidnapping and assault in the east.
Greenville Police arrested 33-year-old Carlton Carney Saturday night. He was booked around 11 p.m. He’s been charged with Felony First Degree Kidnapping, and two counts of Felony Second Degree Kidnapping. He’s also facing Misdemeanor Assault Inflicting Serious Injury with a Minor Present and Misdemeanor Assault on a Female.
He’s locked up currently under no bond in the Pitt County Detention Center. Officials there say he will be given a bond amount come Tuesday.
