A man police say is responsible for stealing copper piping from several homes has been nabbed for the crime.
The Greenville Police Department says 27-year-old Jarrett Jenkins is charged with five counts of breaking and entering, and five counts of larceny after breaking and entering.
Between April and June of this year, police say copper was stolen from five homes in Greenville. All of the homes were vacant and for sale.
In each of the cases, copper was taken from the crawl space of the home. In total, several thousand dollars worth was stolen.
Jenkins is locked up under a $150,000 bond.
