Man Arrested For Stabbing In New Bern

Police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing another man in New Bern.

Tony Williams, 31, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill in Craven County. He is accused of stabbing Jimmy Priestly on Poplar Street in New Bern early Monday morning, that's according to the New Bern Sun Journal. The paper says the victim's injuries were non-life-threatening.

Williams is due in court today.
