Deputies said the gunman is still on the run after holding up a clerk at a local Hispanic store.
Major Kenneth Watson of the Beaufort County Sheriff's office told WITN La Guadalupana Tienda Mexicana was robbed just before 9PM on Saturday night. No injuries were reported.
Investigators said a male suspect robbed the store at gunpoint. No word from investigators how much the crook made off with, but they are searching for him.
