Two sick boys here in the east are back after an all-expense paid trip to Disneyworld.
5-year old Kevin, who has a brain tumor, and 4-year-old Cameron who has a form of leukemia, were back in Pitt county Friday for a party with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The wishes were granted to the two boys by A-Wireless, after they held several fundraising events.
A-Wireless President and CEO Rich Balot says the company is excited to be providing wishes to local kids.
“A lot of our fundraising in the past has been more global across the whole country, and this time we decided to focus on just Pitt County. And so what's really cool is the make-a-wish kids we were able to grant the wishes for were actually here in Pitt County,” said Balot
Balot says three more Pitt County kids will get wishes granted this year from A-Wireless.
