Operation Marry Me Military hosted the charity wedding for Sergeant Sam Thibeault to his new bride, Thera.

In the Craven County chapter's second charity wedding, vendors from across the county donated the nearly $22,000 affair- from cake, to photos, to flowers.

Operation Marry Me military, created in 2011 by Alecia Geddings, aims to host a free wedding for a military family every year in all 100 counties of North Carolina.

According to Craven County Event Organizer, Bob Mackowski, the Thibeault's met in Michigan while in the 8th grade.
