Jacksonville Police Work To Prevent Fast-Food Armed Robberies

Armed robberies have plagued some area fast food restaurants and now Jacksonville Police are arming restaurant managers with information.

Friday Jacksonville Police hosted a learning seminar for managers of local fast food restaurants.

With the recent string of fast food restaurant robberies in Greenville and surrounding communities, Jacksonville Police used the workshop to educate managers in Jacksonville. Officers even used surveillance video from one of the Bojangles' robberies in Greenville to demonstrate.

Police doled out tips and tricks like looking for accessories more than clothing or weapons since weapons may change-- but accessories used in the crime may not.
