According to Nash County communications Highway 264 has now reopened after it was shut down Sunday afternoon due to a brush fire in the area.

According to Highway Patrol both directions of Highway 264 in Nash County near Bailey are shut down right now due to a brush fire in the area.
The highway is shut down near mile marker 24. Troopers say the highway is closed due to low visibility from brush fires on NC Hwy 231 near the Wilson County line.
