Bicycling Teen Hit By Motorist

Police said a teenager was riding his bike in the same direction as the motorist who hit him on Monday evening.

Kinston Police said around 6PM Monday evening, Robert Presely was driving near the intersection of Pollock Street and Highland Avenue in Kinston.

An teenager, who police have not named, was riding his bike in the same direction when police said Presely hit the high-schooler.

Police said the teen did suffer some injuries, but was treated and released from a local hospital.

Officers said while charges maybe pending in the case, their investigation is ongoing.
