Greenville Teen Now Facing Murder Charge

A teenager, who has already been charged with felony conspiracy for the robbery of a murder victim, has now been charged with his murder.

Jahrheel May was charged Friday with murder and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Earlier this month, Greenville police charged the 16-year-old in connection with the robbery of Anthony Johnson. The 26-year-old Johnson was gunned down outside a home on Westridge Drive on January 2nd.

May was arrested on the conspiracy charge two days after the murder and has been in jail ever since.

Police say their investigation is continuing and additional arrests are possible. They are asking people who may have information on the homicide to come forward and cooperate with detectives.
