Greenville Police Officer Named NCLEWA Woman Of The Year

The Greenville Police Department announced Officer Kolenya Edwards was named Woman of the Year at the North Carolina Law Enforcement Women's Association annual conference last week.

Edwards is a 9 year veteran at the Greenville Police Department, and is currently a personnel & recruiting officer. She is an East Carolina University Graduate with a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and is a native of Roanoke Rapids in Halifax County.

The NCLEWA is a non-profit organization chartered in 1956, which is dedicated to fostering and maintaining the professionalism of women in law enforcement.
